About the library itself — licensing, the Pro line, and what is not planned.
Every component and icon in this catalog is MIT-licensed: copy it, ship it, sell what you build with it. Blocks and full templates are the commercial line — sold once, lifetime, no subscription — because composed screens are where the hours actually go. The parts will never move behind the paywall retroactively; a part that is free is free in every future version.
Not today. The parts paste into any stack that renders HTML, including inside React as plain markup for static sections. A native React port, in the shadcn registry format, is the most-requested item on the list and is being considered honestly — the registry file already published is the first step, since it describes every part in that format.
Because the package would become the product, and the product is the code in your repo. The one-file bundle and the starter kit cover the “just give me everything” case without a dependency. If a package ever ships, it will be a mirror of these files, never the source of truth.
One person, in the open, with the mold as the second pair of hands. The repository holds the parts, the checker, and the standard they are built to — issues and corrections are welcome there.
